A typical example of this might include:

Option 1 – Cultural Glasgow Tour

Pick up from your accommodation and experience some of Glasgow`s many Cultural attractions including the magnificent Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum where you can spend many hours viewing its stunning attractions from its 22 Galleries with everything from Art to Prehistoric  Animals, and Ancient Egypt along with local Scottish History, there is even a full size Spitfire hanging from the roof, all this with no entrance fee.  The World famous Burrell Collection, where you can view over 6000 objects under one roof from the private collection of Sir William Burrell and his wife Constance, including some of the most significant Chinese art in the UK, such is the extent of this collection in that it is ranked amongst the most significant Civic Museum collections in the UK , it  is without doubt worth a visit. Enjoy lunch in one of the many local establishments.  Travel to nearby Castles, including Newark Castle which dates back to 1478 with its charming Jacobean details, nestled on the edge of the Firth of Clyde, where you can enjoy some stunning views.   Thereafter returning to your accommodation in time for your evening meal.

Option 2 – Lowland Whisky Tour

Pick up from your accommodation and spend the day enjoying some of the local Whisky Distilleries that Glasgow and the surrounding area have to offer, including, Clydeside Distillery which as its name suggests is on the banks of the Clyde in the location of the historic Pumphouse which once served the swing bridge of the famous Queens Dock, the Clydeside Distillery is rightly proud to have produced  Glasgow`s first single malt in over a century.  Glengoyne Distillery situated at Dumgoyne a short drive North of Glasgow close to the pathway made famous by the West Highland Way, has been established since 1833 and ready now for you to taste its award winning Malts.  Auchentoshan Distillery which is situated to the west of Glasgow on the road to Loch Lomond was first established in 1823, it is here that this unique Malt which is triple distilled is given a more delicate and sweet flavour from its ex-bourbon barrels. Thereafter returning to your accommodation in time for your evening meal.

Option 3 – Loch-Lomond & Trossachs Tour

Pick up from your accommodation and travel North towards Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, where you will enjoy some of the country`s most beautiful scenery. Including some local attractions like the magnificent Inveraray Castle home of Duke and Duchess of Argyll which dates back to the 14th century and is set in outstanding surroundings. Thereafter travel north towards Oban, where we can visit Oban Distillery, one of the smallest in Scotland but with outstanding quality Malts in small numbers. If time allows you then why not go for a small cruise of Loch Lomond aboard a 1953 Paddle steamer where you will enjoy a thoroughly visual and informative tour. Throughout the journey, we will pass through several local villages and towns with individual places of interest and a selection of Restaurants/Cafes. Depending on where your accommodation is placed we can alter the route back to take in the best scenery.

Option 4 – St Andrew`s Fife Tour

Pick up from your accommodation and travel towards, St Andrews, Fife, home of Golf at the famous St Andrews Golf Club, host of the Open Championship. Enjoy a tour of the Club and a round of Golf if you fancy, (Extra cost applies). Otherwise enjoy some local attractions through the cobbled streets of St Andrews including, Ruins of the Cathedral of St Andrews,  and St Andrews Castle and then take a stroll through St Andrew`s Botanic Garden.  again to name but a few of the local attractions on offer in this beautiful part of Scotland. For Whisky and Gin lovers we have a further option to visit the local Kingsbarns Whiskey Distillery on the outskirts of St Andrews, where you can enjoy its selection of Single Malt Whisky and Darnley`s Gin. Thereafter returning to your accommodation in time for your evening meal.

Option 5 – Outlander Tour

Pick up from your accommodation and travel North towards Doune Castle, which is portrayed as Castle Leoch, the seat of the Clan Mackenzie. Outlander is not this castle’s only claim to fame as it was also featured as Camelot in Monty Python and the Holy Grail and starred in the pilot episode of Game of Thrones.
Doune Castle is a great place to visit with lots of nooks and crannies to get lost in and I highly recommend taking the audio guide to make the most of your visit to this 14th Century fortification. Nearby is Deanston Distillery, which was featured as the Warehouse in the french port of Le Havre, where the Comte St Germain stored his wine shipment. Opportunity also exists to sample some of the local Whisky produced at the current Distillery. Thereafter travel further East to Linlithgow Palace, which in its day was a great Royal Palace and birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. As a Outlander scene it was depicted as Wentworth Prison. Finally, to finish off the day we travel to the scenic village of Falkland which featured as 1940`s Inverness, the guesthouse featured in these episodes is called the Covenantor Hotel in real life which looks out onto the Bruce Fountain, where Jamie`s ghost is first seen.  Thereafter returning to your chosen accommodation.

Above is just an example of some of the things you could do on our one-day tours, all of which can be tailored to suit your particular needs, similarly these tours can be combined  for alternative multi-day tours.
